So, you have tuned your designation to start where it should but now you have this pesky text in the beginning of your designation that is not being spoken.  In OnCue you can edit text in a designation, but it will NOT alter the original transcript. This way what scrolls under your video in Presentation Mode is exactly what is being spoken.

Designation Lists can be added/imported into OnCue via a TextMap Annotations Export(\*.csv). It can be a very quick way to load a lot of designations all at once if you already have them in a TextMap Database. Make sure your OnCue database already has the sync files loaded.

OnCue says your deposition video is not found but you know you put them in the \_synchedvideos folder? Does your video file extension not match what your transcript (.mdb or OnCue .xml) is looking for? That’s an easy fix.

You don’t have to link your documents to your designation list. You can easily bring up pages and annotate them while the video is playing. You can do this by playing a designation list as usual and launching a document to the presentation screen using your preferred method (F5, publish, typing directly into Presentation X + ID + Enter.)

Everyone knows that designations do not come to you perfect and ready to go. You often get repeats, duplicates and even both parties designating the same testimony. OnCue can remove duplicate or overlapping designations from a designation list. You can do this either after the list is created or as you are adding designations through the Designation Wizard—the interface is the same for both.
